Excellent mexican food man!
Have you tried Blue Iguana? Possibly the best mexican food I've ever had. And at a good price too.

Yes, hands down. It's the best along with the Red Iguana.
However, it's strange my Mexican cooking (and I'm your average Asian) can whip up some mighty spicy Mexican tacos :)

Other favorite SLC eats:

Hong Kong Tea House near gateway
Benihana's (not the best but unlimited sushi at least)
House of Kebob
Little Russia House
Metropolitan
Caffe Molise
Bombay House
Taste of Punjab in Sandy
and many many others! :)

and you? :)

I am so sorry. I just called the Apple Store in KoP and Ardmore and they are both now sold out. I was at the KoP store at 11:00am this morning and the guy told me they had plenty. Apparently not.

Ah man that is a bummer. I didn't send my money though, so no harm done.

My favorite eats:
Mazza - Amazing Mediterranean food
Ginza - Best Japanese in the valley
India House - Cheaper and spicier than bombay house
Greek Souvlaki - Tasty greek
Cafe Med - More good med food
Tsunami - Great sushi
Kyoto - Not the best sushi, but definitely great entrees
Siegfrieds - Great german food.

Wow, yes, I love Siegfrieds... add in Takeshi for the most creative sushi... I did go to Ginza and yes, the sushi and Sukiyaki was awesome but expensive tab...

Mazza is so so good in fact... hmm... I may go over there tomorrow? Thanks for reminding me of it.

Where is the India House? I never heard of it? :)

Cafe Med yummy... maybe tomorrow... gotta find a place to eat of course :)

Where is Takeshi? I'm always in need of new Sushi places, just wish they were a little cheaper.

India House - 8660 S State St Sandy, UT kind of a drive but well worth it.

I wasn't able to get on on Friday (ATT Store was having issues with my debit card) Anyone heard when the next shipment is due at the apple store?

Well, I'm thinking that we won't be getting any tomorrow, seeing as how it's the fourth, so I'm planning on going up there at 9:30 and waiting outside the apple store for it to open and praying to :apple: will be one. If not, oh well, I've got mine on wait at the online store.

UGHHHHH
apparently my order won't ship until the 20th, meaning I won't get it until the 24th. Please :apple: that's too long to wait!
Time to camp out at the apple store.

Nice little Salt Lake thread we've got going here. It's too bad iPhone availability is not good right now. I got an 8 gig on Friday night (waited in line for 4 hours) and there seemed to be plenty left even after everyone in line had bought one. I can't imagine they'll take too long restocking, or I hope not anyway. I went in yesterday to try to buy the Belkin adapter for using regular headphones with iPhone and they were sold out of that too.

Got confirmation from employees that they're coming in tomorrow, and the store opens at 9 AM, so I'd be there no later than 8:45.

I waited in line for 9 hours on Friday, but only got them for my boss and dad for a tidy profit. Now, I have enough cash for iPhones for my wife & I!

Went down there today. They only got a shipment of 25 in and they all sold out. I got there at like 8:55 (had no idea there would be that kind of line) and the last guy who got one was like 5 people ahead of me. I'm pretty bummed. Gonna go back and wait one more time, a little earlier, and if not just wait for this damn thing to come in the mail.

wow that was quick... was the apple store busy this morning?

Pretty busy for a mall where the rest of the stores didn't even open for another hour. There were about 40 people in line for the iPhone, and a couple others with computer problems or buying something for their iPod.
After they said who was going to get the last 8 gig about 10 people left, and a few people stayed who were content with a 4.

Nobody in the beginning of the line bought a 4 gig, so I'm beginning to wonder who is going to buy it when supply isn't so limited. 'Average' users aren't going to be buying an iPhone for a while, and people who have been waiting for this for years are going to either continue waiting for more features, or get the 8.
I was tempted... but I guess I can go back tomorrow.
Hopefully less people will be there, I figured there were more than usual because some might have the day off due to the holiday.

I bought the 4gb model. so far so good! :)

This is getting ridiculous. I was there at 8:20 and there were about 20-25 people lined up waiting at Gateway. By 9:00 there were over 100 people and finally an employee came out and said they were all gone. They gave the first people there at 7 o'clock cards so they would be promised one, but they only got 30 iPhones.
There was a little bit of that happy iPhone feeling, but by now people really just want to get rid of their phone and get on with it. Apple really needs to start meeting demand here because people are begging to get 600 bucks off their hands.

I have an extra 8gig I picked up for a friend but he bought his own.

I was at apple on the release day and got two 8 gig iPhones my buddy didnt end up buying my extra so I have one to spare. I can deliver it this weekend. Send me an email to onelegtwoshoes@hotmail.com.

Thanks.

Cody

ya i was raced down to the gateway store this morning got like 4 mins after nine and just a ridiculous amount of people there. this is getting me angry

Sounds like you need to get there more like 7:00 AM not after 9. I'm sort of surprised that demand is still running so high that there are long lines in the mornings. There were more than enough for everybody in line on release night. Anyway, good luck getting one soon. It will be worth the frustration and time spent in line. I love this thing!

ya i was also very surprised. thats why i only showed up at 9. i figured i would be good

I was really surprised when I got there on the 4th, but today was even bigger. And even less iPhones.
The employee who came out said take pictures and send them to Apple because we need more iPhones.

Woo!!!!! Got my iPhone thanks to Onelegtwoshoes!
It took me forever to get this thing activated though. I was trying to add it to a family plan, but I hadn't gone through the credit check since i didn't buy it at the Apple store, so I had to call some completely boneheaded ATT employees who didn't know what they were doing, who tried to get me to sign up as a separate user and then change to a family plan. That didn't end up working, so I had to go down to the ATT store and wait over an hour for someone to do whatever ATT does, but now finally I HAVE AN IPHONE!

It's syncing now but the wait was worth it for sure. Everything on Apple's side was smooth as silk, except them not having it in stock.

But I am now one extremely happy customer!
