Wow! Bruce Percy's work is fantastic!

I am looking to do some more sessions with Colin P. Maybe we can make the economics work between us... will let you know when I work out what I am looking for.

I've said to my Mrs that a Colin Prior workshop would be nice for my 40th - but that's 7 years away :S

She had looked at one for my 30th and I didn't even know. She said it was just too expensive and told me about it after my birthday haha! I said to her that if she booked me on it, I wouldn't need another birthday present again!

Don't know who was more disappointed ha!

He does tuition days and can be contracted to do overnight camps to get morning lights etc...

Anyway, a few months time and I will be looking to set something up - too busy until then.

Which one did you go for?

Sounds like a great experience. If I had the money going spare I'd like to do a location based shoot with him. He is a great orator and undoubtedly a very intelligent guy. He was a major influence in me getting serious about photography in my early teens.

Another guy I'd like to do a tutorial with is Bruce Percy. I'd love to see how he goes about 'seeing' the landscape. I'm working with simplicity a lot at the moment and it's actually quite difficult to get the 'less is more' just right. Bruce Percy is a master of simplicity through strong visuals. He is also a very intelligent guy and his blog is certainly worth reading.
This one.
So order placed.

Went with the Gitzo GK154T-82TQD and bag.
I don't think there was a bad choice when you look at all I was considering, but ultimately the height/payload and folded length worked well on this for me.
Currently 15% off sale but I did a little better ;)

I'll have to find some nice landscapes to shoot now! I'll let you know how I get on when it arrives.

I'm not much of a drinker these days either, and these days I am a medium!

My wife believes those two things are connected!

Hmm... I can help dispute her claim because I need a medium to be able to see a medium in my future... and I dont drink...
