I wouldn't worry

Are the chips for the Mini and iMac available yet? I get all that stuff confused. :p

I am thinking maybe July-August, the Minis are not part of the back to school program (bummer). I am curious where the Mini goes because that'll be my desktop replacement once this 2010 iMac signs off.

I hope a new one comes out. I will not buy a system with integrated glossy monitor. Many people I know who have the iMac have had the monitor go out.

Only Mac I can afford as well. Or at least choose to afford. I am not married to Macs as I have both Macs and Windows computers, so although I don't want to give up my Macs it won't be that bad for me.

New MacMini?

I was scanning the Apple websit during the WWDC and came across a page that was the banner for Mac Mini stating fastest mac. I pressed the tech page, but it said it had no new specs. I did this last year and the updates come spotty as they build the site. Later, I did not see this "new" page with the Mac Mini seen. I did not think of screen capturing at the time as I thought this was real or last happening now.

No refresh today, but can anyone honestly say the potential doesn't look kick ass?

When they refresh, it looks to be sporting an Ivy Bridge setup with integrated graphics baseline and a discrete nVidia GT 650-m as an option and USB3.

I'd say that's a massive upgrade in almost every respect. If they manage to push out a quad core with a discrete graphics option, I'm just gonna freak out :p

If nothing else, Apple likes synergy and simplicity in its supply chain.

I think everything we see in the new Mac Pro line will be exactly what we see in the new Mini.
