No notification sounds while on phone call?

I can confirm that this has been fixed in iOS 14.2 for me.

I now hear notifications while on a phone - both for incoming message as well as reminders.

Well, that's interesting and good to hear. I'm not sure if that was something that was a listed as a fix/change in iOS 14.2 release notes.

Going to need to try it out once I update to iOS 14.2.

Just tested this out with incoming messages after I updated to iOS 14.2 and can also confirm that it's indeed working correctly now (along with a banner that even appears over the in-call screen).

Has anyone noticed that when multiple notifications come in simultaneously (example someone send you a couple iMessages in a row) if you phone is locked it only buzzes one instead of multiple times?
