Has anyone else noticed that Apple Music doesn’t send any notifications when someone adds songs to a collaborative playlist?

I’m the owner of a few collaborative playlists with friends and family. Even though people are actively adding songs, I don’t get any kind of alert — no push notification, no badge, nothing. The only way to see updates is to open the playlist and scroll or sort by “Recently Added.”

I’ve double-checked:
  • All notification settings in iOS and the Music app
  • That I’m logged in and following the playlist
  • That collaborators are properly added
Still, nothing.

If Apple Music is pushing collaboration as a feature, shouldn’t it at least notify users when the playlist changes? This feels like a pretty basic oversight.

Just wanted to see if others are experiencing the same and if there’s a workaround or upcoming fix. If not, I’ll be submitting feedback to Apple — this seems like something they could easily add.

Would love to hear how others are handling this or if I missed a setting somewhere.
