It always boggles my mind when people tell me they don't notice the difference or don't care about the feature. Everything is SO smooth with ProMotion, and going back to 60 Hz tablets (or manually limiting the refresh rate of an iPad Pro's screen) is quite a jarring difference to me. I will make the exception for this new mini because it's so incredible in every other regard, though.
Had the mini 6 had promotion, I'd have probably gotten it. I could trade in a 2018 Pro 11 for $416 and pay $80 for 64GB or $288 for the 256GB. :p But no promotion? Yeah... I'm not going to pay for less. (But that's me in my situation). That iPad mini looks SO NICE.

Yeah, in this instance it's going to supplement my primary (Pro) iPad rather than replace it. The tech is too cool and compact for me to pass it up - I loved the mini form factor back in 2011 but couldn't financially justify having multiple iPads, so I returned the one I bought then. Now I'm a little less scrupulous about justification. :)
