New unlocks using SAM were blocked a very long time ago by Apple.
You cannot use SAM to unlock your baseband.
Honestly, I did not read every reply in this thread, but your ONLY option is an IMEI unlock from either the carrier who sold the phone or a grey market vendor.
There is absolutely no other way to unlock your baseband and absolutely no other way to change the baseband.
You can spend the next week reading, but these are your options !
Hopefully, it's not SoftBank, they don't unlock and grey market unlock is about $250
Hopefully you didn't buy this as a resale phone.
If so, it was a very poor choice if you require the unlock to use it.

well.... ios 5.1.1 installed... same modem firmware...
