Ive hooked up my 14” MBP to my AV reciever using a HDMI cable. I can get surround from Infuse, Apple Music and games etc. I CAN NOT get anything other than stereo from any web browser. I want to use my MBP for Netflix etc, but nothing i do will get me full surround.
Obviously it’s hooked up correctly, so im stumped as to why i cant get surround from web browsers. Ive tried Safari, Safari tech preview and Firefox.
Or is this not possible in 2022 😎
