while it’s true that the Galaxy Tablets are sold with the S PEN included that does not mean that it’s free.

The reality is that you are being forced to pay for the S PEN whether you want it or not when you buy the Galaxy Tablets from Samsung.

It’s not a “deal” or a special “freebie”, it’s included in the overall price already.

thank you, that is all.

(the same goes for 2-in-1 “laptop/tablets”, if you don’t want the touchscreen model but you’re forced to pay for the touchscreen 2-in-1 because it has better specs etc)
All 2 in 1's are touchscreen, that's the point of them. Buy a laptop if you don't want touchscreen.

Does that mean when I purchase an iPad, I'm forced to pay for an Apple pencil that I'll never receive unless I purchase an Apple pencil separately? I'm paying twice for an Apple pencil and only receiving one? o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O
No it means you’re not paying for the pencil if you don’t want it. and if you do want it then you simply buy it.

You all can say what you want but the fact of the matter is that you’re paying for the S-Pen. It’s not free. If you want flagship Galaxy Tablet you have to buy the S-Pen with it. If it was not included with the Tablet perhaps the product would cost another $50 less and be an even better deal. Currently I have seen the 2020 ipad pros going for reduced prices only about $20-30 more than the flagship Samsung tablets.

Yeah, I think most people get that.
But who is claiming the included s-pen is free?
I don't recall any consensus of it being free, rather than included.
Who is "spreading this", as per the thread title?

my point is there are certain laptops/2-1 where if you want the best specs, you HAVE to get the touchscreen model. So you’re forced to pay extra for something you may not even want.

Tons of reviews of it vs the iPad Pro say “It‘s Free with the Samsung Tablet so the samsung tablet wins this category even though the Apple Pencil 2 is superior overall”

So you really think we all saved $129 because Apple didn't include the pencil?

Ah the mental gymnastics in this thread is great. It's freakin included, with the price of the tablet. Don't want it? Don't use it, think your getting ripped off don't buy it. Buy an ipad. Then when you want to use the stylus, pay 129 extra for it. Simple.

The flagship Samsung tablet is still cheaper than a current gen iPad Pro that comes without an Apple Pencil. You could make that argument about any feature that you don't want. I'm sure the 2020 iPad pros would cost less without the lidarsensor which I think is unnecessary but it is what it is.

The only Galaxy tablets that work with the S Pen are the S7 and S7 Plus, both of which include a pen in the box. The rest of their lineup (S6 Lite, A series, etc.) neither support the S Pen nor come with one in the box. So if you want a cheap Samsung tablet, you won't get an S Pen. If you want to pay iPad Pro prices for a Samsung Tablet, you'll get an S pen.
My s6 lite came with S pen and it works so that's not true at all.

Also after reading all this I was just curious about tbonemac and tried to look at his profile but apparently it is limited to only a few people. Who does that lol.

I have to agree with others here - I think you’re just wasting time. At the very point when you consider starting a discussion to discredit someone else’s product, consider the time wasted.

Don’t buy. Issue fixed. Move on.

Wow. You guys are still raging about Samsung after all these years? Also, All of the Galaxy Tab S series from the S3 and later use the pen. I know this because I own a Galaxy Tab S3 and it has the pen.

I think only one person was raging. Everyone else seems to be defending Samsung or pointing out the arguments fallacy.

I think "you guys" means the OP and people like him, not "you guys" in this thread. I could be wrong. ha ha. But this is silly for sure!
