iPad Pro No Thunderbolt speeds on the M1 iPad pro (yet)

Yeah, exactly why my Surface Pro 7 will accompany my iPad Pro on my travels. (Yes, this issue has been reported to Amazon but clearly nothing has changed. My workaround is to use FileManager Pro - it does what I need with exFAT without corruption.)

I use FE File Explorer Pro (better maintained). Have used it for years, and it is available on Android too. I especially like, that I can Send/Receive files across OS'es i.e. from iOS to Android and back (as a fairly good AirDrop of anything to any smartphone).

On top of that, you can activate a server in the app, and share info across your home network in an easy way.

The iOS version has had some problems connecting to my M1 Big Sur file shares recently, but I have the suspicion, that some underlying iOS code is involved (I also have periodic issues connecting to my Mac mini M1 from the Files App).

There is a free version of the app to test things out.
