In Maps??

I guess I’ve never tried that. I always just go to the menu and see what’s close.

And it’s always lame restaurants I would never stop at. I just want to know if there’s a Chick Fil A along my route. ;)

Waze has always been best at this for me for some reason. One would think Google as well, but the results seem to change every time I enter the same request...or it did in the past....
Here's a writeup on this:

Its fun finding feature you've always wanted and didn't know really existed!

I swear...it makes so much sense that they would have that considering the “manual” limitations of the app.

I was using Waze religiously for commuting reasons, but have been on Maps only since the beta.

Thanks!!

EDIT: wait...I knew about what the article says, but it makes no mention of what you are saying.

If I am driving 800 miles from Alabama to Michigan, Maps has the route, and I say, “find Chick Fil A along my route” it will show me those? Even if they are over 100 miles away??

My issue with the “suggestions along your route” that it shows if you swipe up is that they are all typically within a mile or two if you are in a busy area. I want to plan my stop hours in advance if possible without leaving the app and starting a new route.

I know about that, but it seems it does not work in Europe and its limited to Apples partners. I might need to search for a certain supermarket chain or whatever three hours away.
