Do you have the ifixit teardown link to confirm the M2 has this on the Mac Mini & iMac?

People have lost interest in an M2 mini because we saw how much of a price hike the M2 brought to the MacBook Air.Apple has lost peoples interest in an upgraded Mac Mini… its been long over due and they haven‘t delivered… so people have moved on…
The premium mini exists, it's called the Mac Studio.A premium mini should have more ports and I don't know if they care to add them. On the other hand, it would be really nice if they added two USB-C ports to the base model but I'm pretty sure that M2 wouldn't allow for that.
Agree about the value of having a 5k 27", since I'm running that as my main monitor, and a 4k 27" as one of my two side monitors.Have to disagree with that. As a 27" iMac power user, I can't imagine using a Mac again without the fidelity of a 5k screen. I have an M1 Mac Mini with a 4k as well, and the difference is night and day - the 5k is super-friendly on the eyes!
Not for me. My 2019 27" iMac can drive three displays, and that's what I'm using, while the M2 can drive only two. Plus I can install 128 GB RAM (which is what's in there now). The M2 is limited to 24 GB.An M2 Mini/Studio Display will be the combo to replace the iMac; the M2 will be a powerhouse for years to come for the level of work I do, which is stretching the iMac a little these days but that Mini will lap it up!
I am thankful I bought the Mac Studio before the price hike and forex changes. The premium mini exists, it's called the Mac Studio.

I am good until year 2031. Hopefully by then my currency strengthens.
Love how this nonsense persists. Operating normally is now ✌🏾cooling issues✌🏾It really doesn’t.
The M2 MBP price stayed the same because there was no redesign. So M2 Mac mini could stay the same.People have lost interest in an M2 mini because we saw how much of a price hike the M2 brought to the MacBook Air.
The M2 iPad Pro got more expensive. I wouldn't hold my breath. The M2 MBP price stayed the same because there was no redesign. So M2 Mac mini could stay the same.
In the US it's the same price. The M2 iPad Pro got more expensive.
That's not a lie. When my otherwise cool and silent 24" iMac suddenly makes audible fan noise, I'm immediately shocked and concerned. You can't go from absolute silence to 7000rpm. I'm not prepared for normal operations! 😱Love how this nonsense persists. Operating normally is now ✌🏾cooling issues✌🏾
I’m curious about this. The M1 Mini is perfect for my needs, except I need 32gb (possibly 24 in a pinch) due to running a Windows vm.People have lost interest in an M2 mini because we saw how much of a price hike the M2 brought to the MacBook Air.
Hmm... 32 GB M2 Pro 1 TB SSD? If released, I suspect it would be pretty close in price to the M1 Max Mac Studio.Yeah, as I've frequently said, I'm looking to get a "headless" Apple Silicon Mac desktop, after having been using my M1 MacBook Air for a year and a half now and loving it. But rather than an M1 Mac Mini, I want something more souped up, which is why my ideal machine would be an M2 Pro Mac Mini with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It'd be replacing my 2012 quad-core i7 Mac Mini (upgraded with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD), and so it'd be a logical replacement, and so I don't have to often use my M1 Air in "Clamshell" mode if I want a traditional desktop experience.
As for design, I could see the M2 Minis looking identical to the M1 Minis, and the M2 Pro Mini looking identical to that last remaining Intel Mini; the only difference would be that it'd have four Thunderbolt/USB-C ports instead of two. And if that were the case, I can still use it with my CalDigit TS3-Plus Thunderbolt 3 dock for if I want to use additional USB-A ports, an SD card slot and optical audio in (like when I'm recording something from my cassette recorder or my record player). Currently with my M1 Air, I've got an Ethernet wire hooked up to the TS3-Plus dock for wired Internet, but once I get such an M2 Pro Mini I'll just hook up the Ethernet to the port on the Mini, the way I have with my 2012 i7 Mini. (Sure made a big difference since we moved into our current ranch house and were able to run an Ethernet line from the basement to my room with a router installed.)
Strike 1 - That will not happen with the M2 mac mini. Completely different scenarios and R&D spendingsPeople have lost interest in an M2 mini because we saw how much of a price hike the M2 brought to the MacBook Air.
Strike 2 - stop miss-leading people...M2 ipad pro has the same starting price ..whats happening outside US is not Apple faultThe M2 iPad Pro got more expensive. I wouldn't hold my breath.
Yes, it seems people are just watching whats going on in their countries and doesnt care about anyone else and the truth of economicsIn the US it's the same price.

When I price out a Mini M1 16gb/1tb, it comes in at $1,299. It’ll be interesting if a M2 24GB/1tb comes in at $1,399, $1,499, or $1,599.
In markets where the currency has been losing value, the prices went up. Probably would have happened even without the M2 upgrade. The M2 iPad Pro got more expensive. I wouldn't hold my breath.
Cute.Do you have the ifixit teardown link to confirm the M2 has this on the Mac Mini & iMac?
Interest rates are still far too low.I'm sure that the Fed will cut rates after tanking the US economy, probably starting in 2024.
