Update, I am currently using from between 124% - 140% of the CPU and noise is a NON-ISSUE. This thing is incredibly quiet, I'm having a hard time hearing anything at all on this thing. Very impressive!

You say you are using 124%, I thought I remember like the first day i got my new imac it would go over 100%, but now with two "yes > /dev/null" it says 100%. Why won't mine go over 100%?
Never mind see now that in activity monitor the bottom only goes to 100, but the individual apps can show above 100.

Oh and I don't hear a thing either..

You might want to check the noise level when the CPU is doing more work.
No need to rip DVDs, there is an easy way to simulate higher CPU use by
opening two Terminal windows and typing in each one:

yes > /dev/null

...and pressing Enter. Two separate Terminal windows, each one with this
command, for each CPU core. Now observe CPU usage in Activity Monitor

Of course when you quit the Terminal the CPU usage will get back to normal.

Silent before, silent during and silent afterwards!

I did feel the case getting quite hot though. But still perfectly silent.
