What if the magnet fails on these ? Straight on the concrete floor...is it worth the risk ?

You can bang your watch into a wall while walking or while you are putting on your band it could slip out of your hands. Accidents happen. If the magnet is not strong enough, you will know once you put it on. For me, I will put it on over my bed, so if it is weak, and falls, it is safe. Of course I will shake my hand and test it on every angle. A magnet strength won't disappear over night. I also have Applecare +, so I am not worried. Also, it is very easy to return the band and get your money back if you buy from the right seller. Using 3rd party bands is always a risk. But, unless we try, we will never know. Most people don't have the extra money to pay the price for the OEM Apple bands. As time goes by, 3rd party bands will get better and better, which they already are.

Thanks for your reply. It makes sense can you also point me in the right direction in terms of companies that make those straps that I can look into without it worrying that my watch might ping off whilst in motion..

Just a quick update. Went on a long hike today wearing the red leather loop and not once did it become either loose or like if the connectors would give out. By far is my favorite bracelet. I absolutely LOVE it and I think if you get one with magnets as strong you'll love it as well. Money well spent or more like money well invested.

REALLY loving that grew red and black band !

I'm getting impatient for my Red Loop.

I ordered a black Loop yesterday.

My band collection is getting out of hand.

Is there a Bands Anonymous group yet?

Can't wait for this bugger to show :D

Poetic has some really cool stuff shipping soon. I ordered the same as Binarymix as well. :) I hope that they decide to come up with other combinations colors for this one.

In the mean time, I bent my arm and ordered that Link from Aliexpress for my brother. I'll let you know if it pans out.

Great find. I'm glad these companies are making affordable leather loops that are good quality and not risky as far as fit.

Me too! In the mean time I have been communicating with Lily. She works for Utica Guy and she is saying that the only reason the Milanese Loop got back ordered was because of a problem with the magnets. Otherwise they would've stayed on top of the dates they first expected to ship which was July 30th.
Also, when I asked her about the elusive unicorn which is the white leather loop many sellers showed in Aliexoress and eBay, she said to actually pay attention to the detain of the white bracelet photo which it didn't occur to me before that it was photoshopped or cleared but when you zoom in to the SS bezel you'll see the red glare from a red bracelet on it. I'm so glad she said that because I was about to buy one from hong yao since he swore his was white and not beige, sand nor brown.
Now the wait for the link begins but in the mean time, I received this one today on the mail which I wasn't expecting till next week. A Hoco 5 pointer on my SS Apple Watch and its heavy and looks very good. Even my husband likes it and that's saying a lot for my black sheep husband who dislikes anything apple.

It's nice how the 5 link looks great with a SGS. Wish they made it in black/space gray like the 3 link. Thanks for all of your research, very helpful. I hope to get a black leather loop and a decent Milanese.

Actually mine is a SS Apple Watch. The way I took photos makes it look like the SGS. But I concur it does look great!

How are you finding the clasp on the 5 point? I have the Hoco 3 point on my 38mm SS and I love the look.
I absolutely LOVE it. It's actually real easy to undo which is awesome because that way I don't have to use my nails to try to force unbuckling. Completely worth the money! How do you like your 3 bead one?

I really like it. Easy to just push the tabs and open. I have the one that says Hoco which is the 3 bead right? Lol :).

Hey guys! So I just got an email from this seller from Aliexpress and he says he has these available. Unfortunately for us 38mm adopters we're out of luck since these are 42mm links. Anyhow, since someone ha been posting updates on the links manufacture process from what seems to be a reliable source, thought to post and see if this can be verified as well as if the photos sent to my email are legit or not.
Take a look!

Yep... I'm gonna stay tuned. I am burning out on cheap-mid level bands, some of which I am still waiting for but the Apple link/clone is the holy Grail

It is indeed. Not easy to get that cloning machine going. ;-)

I see that one issue with the fake versus OEM in manufacturing is that the leather edges at the connector at cut flat as if the band were flat on a table and blade was perpendicular. On the OEM however, there is an angle to the cut at that location. This angled cut makes the band appear flat once it's curved and worn on your wrist. It's possible that the measurements for the fakes are using the top, front facing width where it is slightly narrower as opposed to measuring the bottom, wrist-side leather width.

Sounds confusing, but have a look and you'll see what I mean.

I kind of can understand what you mean. Still waiting for the thing to arrive. Seller has usually been quick but not this time. Hopefully until Wednesday.

Will there be a 38mm option?

I heard there will be but most likely not from day one.

Please tell me space black/grey will be an option!?
