I had the AliExpress fake Leather Loop alert as on discount for $39, so decided to get a pair, one for my 42mm and a 38mm for the wife. Hope it is as good as the recent samples posted here!

Will say this. eBay has this new thing going for certain seller accounts. It's a spin the wheel and win type deal.

They sent me an invite to participate and I won a $5 eBay gift card and a $100 eBay gift card. Needless to say I paid nothing for the 1:1 clone.

Check your messages and see if eBay sent you the invite, if they did, you are in business.

They state that you need to sell something in order to be provided with a code, however, if you see the rules to participate, you'll see they offer a second option in which you provide them with your info and they send you the promo code to spin the wheel.

Any who, check it out and see! $105 for free was not a bad deal.

This is not a troll move, nor a fake. I thought the same thing...until I actually won a verified gift card. Checked the eBay community forums and googled it. Legit

Edit: here is the link https://play.ebay.com/spin/Mobile

Be forewarned. If you don't have an eBay message in your eBay account inbox inviting you to participate , you won't be able to receive a promo code. If you do, on this link, click see the rules and read option 2 on how to participate

Thanks for the info. I got the message about the spin game, but when I click on the link for the alternative method of entering it doesn't go anywhere. Page doesn't exist anymore. Thought it goes through august 2nd?

Same with me for alternative. Page doesn't exist anymore. It does say end on August 2nd though.

Pulled the trigger on Utica guy's link bracelet replica. Let's see how good it is when I get it.

I also just purchased the link replica...I also have one of his ML on order that should be delivered soon. As they arrive here in Alabama I'll post some pics.

So I finally received a couple bands worth showing off. I have purchased a replica milanese loop and a replica leather loop from seller "lnkoo888" on eBay.

42mm Blue Leather Loop
Price paid: $41.99
Current price: $38.99
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/38133287297...49&var=650538416256&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Fit seems pretty good. I only tried on the original leather loop in store the day after pre-orders opened up online, so I can't really remember the quality and fit to compare. I would say that comparing pictures online, this one is very passable. Magnets seem to be strong enough under the high scientific "shake test." Color is great. There does seem to be a slight gap where the band sits into the watch. Probably close to 1mm on left side top and bottom like others mentioned. Overall, I think it would be an excellent purchase for the price.

42mm Milanese Loop
Price paid: $30 (I made a "best offer," which he accepted)
Current price: $35.99 w/ option for best offer
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261961841425?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

I really think this is an exceptional quality replica. Magnet is extremely strong, so no worries about it falling off. No kinks or defects in the milanese. Slides in very easy and does not seem to have any gaps between band and watch. Very good quality loop replica. Like the leather loop, I only tried it on in store early on, so I can't exactly compare to the real thing, but this band is very comfortable to wear and seems like a great buy!

That Milanese Loop looks identical to the real one. I just submitted a $30 offer as well.

He has really good communication as well. He is located in China, but does ship from the US. Do not be alarmed if it takes a day or so for tracking to work. Took about 4-5 business days to arrive, but completely worth it.

That was the seller who never shipped mine. Apparently it got lost in the post when shipped within UK. He quickly refunded it but has left it an an unpaid item in eBay! Not a seller I would use again.

Interesting. I accuse him of that when I ordered a sports band from him, but it eventually came in the same 4-5 business day window that I mentioned above. That was only about $10 and I used it as a trial to see if I could trust him enough to order these two bands from him. Great experience all three times for me!

If those pictures are real it looks spot on. I'm not willing to pay $200 on a sketchy replica from China though.

This is the band we talked about a couple of pages ago right? It where the same pictures, only it's not released yet, so or this is a pre-order or the seller is talking ****.

If i was to purchase from him i would ask for more pictures. Worth noting is the seller seems trustworthy a few others have purchased similar from him and they looked pretty good, the clasp was different tho a few pages back.

It should be the same band that was mentioned yes, the elusive 1:1 clone. Same seller (Regis Electric Mall) that another user purchased from with the hidden clasp instead. Weight was heavy about 125G with the watch.

My source is a US seller and according to him their factory will have the 1:1 clone in 3-4 months. So unless Regis Electric Mall managed to produce them already, it's hard to believe, but he seems to be a good seller. I won't be using Aliexpress so unless he sells on ebay i wont be able to try this.

Yeah it could be pre-orders but the seller doesn't state it. If you look carefully you will see he had 83 orders, if you click it you see his listing has been active since june, and the prices were less back then. It could be he is updating the listing with the newer versions so his price increases due to the extra work needed to replicate the tool-less link removal.

This is what i hate about aliexpress the product pictures change all the time yet the listing is the same. Typical switcheroo tactics.

I think he does, on his listing he says " Just now is been making! if need ,pls order in Advance! "
sounds like pre-order to me.
To bad they go for the tool-less links, if you ask me it's no problem to take links out with a tool, if the band stays cheaper that way and still looks authentic when worn I am happy with it.

My bad, i must have missed that line. I agree though, how often do you need to resize a steel band? I do it once when i buy it and store the extra links. Only time i will ever need the extra links is when i'm selling it on. I think the tool-less thing is a gimmick and don't see any use in it. I work with watches anyway changing batteries etc.. Resizing a band takes all but 3-4 minutes.

Having the OEM link, I will say that removing the link band without removing a link connection is an absolute pain. If you have multiple bands you like to wear, then this might be pretty bothersome. If your cool wearing it all the time, then it's a non issue. Just saying though, there is at least some utility in having the Apple link removal mechanism.

Very good point!, totally overlooked installing and removing the band from the watch. I have almost 16 bands and awaiting a clone that uses hidden springpins for resizing. I'm curious how painful it will be to install on the watch and remove without being able to 'split' the band by removing a link.

It is definitely a bit cumbersome. You have to slowly slide a little bit off each end back and forth until the band is on or off. It won't slide on or off in one simple push or pull.

Not a big deal if it's every now and then, but if you change your band when you go to the gym, then go hiking, then for work, and all that, it'll become tedious quick I imagine. Probably just a minor annoyance though considering a pretty hefty savings in price.
