beware of milanese loop knockoff, mine is broken after 3 days of usage. Hopefully it broke t home, so the watch itself is in good condition.

I bought one that broke as well, as soon as i took it out of the box. I decided to not risk my watch on a cheap knockoff and went out and bought a ML from the Apple store. I couldn't be happier. I will probably buy a blue knockoff Leather loop to go along with my genuine LL but they can't really break as there are no joints. JMO

I got it from Emisoon off Amazon and it broke immediately out of the box right where the chain attached to the adapter.

Which one are you talking about? As far as I know there are 3 versions of the ML knockoff:

1) The earliest version doesn't remotely look like the ML, uses regular connectors and band has too much space between the loops.
2) Later version that uses same adapters as the OEM but the width of the band is narrower than the end of the adapter.
3) Latest version from Inkoo88/Freedomoclock - Looks exactly like the ML - might have tiny gaps at connector level but not really noticeable.

I think yours is the 1st one according to Amazon & Emisoon search.. Lowest quality one.

Ok thanks for the info. I'm trying to figure out if its a quality issue overall or just a bad batch out there. Also do people with OEM apple milanese loop have these issues.

Thats correct, the first one. personally, I will not trust any knockoff bands with welded or crimped joints, I've seen too many bad ones in my life. Your mileage, of course, may vary.

Some people had this issue but like I've asked chillg8r, he didn't mention which of the 3 ML knockoff versions it is. I have the Inkoo88/utica version and it has not broken so far. It's a much higher quality than the earlier ML knockoffs.

You should try the new versions. The early versions use regular adapters and they just stuck a milanese styled band.. Most likely done in a rush to put that on the market. As far as I know, no people that owned the last version had any issues with the band breaking down. You can check the photos on the other thread.

I thought I'd add that I got my silver Inko ML on Friday - very impressed with it thus far and the only thing I can complain about is that the end can come through the attachment portion, unlike Apple's and a few other clones (others have noted this, too). Otherwise, for a fraction of what Apple charges, I'm pleased and look forward to seeing how this holds up.

The black ML?

I got the silver one (shipping took about a week), so there were plenty who received them before me - just wanted to add myself as a data point that everything seems pretty good for the money - I also edited my post to add silver.

Were you ever able to work out the discount for the forum?
Unfortunately no luck on that regard.
The reason why Richard / Utica Guy / Freedomoclock has decided not to provide the discount is mainly because the products come automatically with 180 days warranty from him, so in the event that in 180 days you run in to problems with the bands or any other product for that matter, you can during the duration of those 180 days, even if its on day 179, return said items for a full refund. IMHO best deal there is actually. You can't ever pay enough for great customer service.

I can't seem to find the link to inkoo888. I'm looking for the best replica leather loop for the 42 that ships to Canada.

That's weird, I got mine from the same guy, and the magnetic end on mine does not come through the attachment. Got the $30 deal from inkoo.

Thanks, ordered. I love the look of the leather loop but couldn't justify its price. $45 is much more reasonable, and I'm happy it has reviews here and ships from the States.
if you ordered from canada (like me), he will ship it from China. Took about 1.5 weeks to receive it for me.

To those who have recently received their leather loops from lnkoo88, are there still gaps by the adapters and is metal piece where it loops through still crooked?
