I'm after a nice red Sport Band to go with my Space Grey Sport Watch, anyone seen anything decent anywhere (or better still, does anyone have one)?

Cheers all.

[Edit] - Just took a punt on this one, thanks to a recommendation earlier in the thread:

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/orig...l-embed-adapter-38-42mm-free/32397264554.html

I've purchased that one. Still waiting for it to come, to Australia. Did order through China Post and last notification I got was that it left Shenzhen Exchange Bureau (exported straight seal) to what I'm guessing is Australia. This happened on the 11th.. Waiting game is on. Will post pics once it arrives, hopefully sometime this week.

Bought the stone version of this band yesterday:

http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32393855505.html

Did anybody bough from this seller and/or this band? Like to know if I've made a good decision... Lot of orders and positive feedback, so I think it should be okay.

Thinking about buying this one also: http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32375929763.html does anybody know if it's good?

I'm new to aliexpress. The strap I've bought was about 25€ shipping included. Are there gonna be any extra (import)costs? I live in The Netherlands.

Just got my HappyCell leather loop in black and I couldn't be more pleased. The issue with the gaps by the connecters is resolves and there's no metal showing like in some of the lnkoo88 ones. I'd call it a 1:1 replica.

I ordered a black leather loop from Sikai. Overall the experience was not that great.
First they swapped the price on me, and said they made a mistake and the price I paid was for pre-order only. After giving them more money they said they shipped it and gave a tracking number.
The tracking number didn't work. They kept giving excuses that it got lost in the mail. After a few weeks they finally "shipped" another one. Again the tracking number didn't work. After a couple of weeks they started giving excuses again saying there were weather problems etc causing delays. Lies, since they never shipped it in the first place.

Finally I decided to dispute the charges (started with Paypal for the extra money I had to pay after the pre-order fiasco). That got their attention pretty quickly. They said they will have an answer for me by the following day. No response so started the dispute process through Ali Express. Pretty much the day after that they shipped it, and I had my band in a week.

When I got the band, the quality wasn't the best. Didn't line up, didn't latch in, and bits of material were coming off. They did give me a $5 refund. I did end up getting the band to work, and it's held up since I got it.

But I wouldn't buy from them again, and if you already did don't believe a word they say.

Hey guys, I'm having a little trouble with my freedomoclock 2nd gen link bracelet and looking for input. The connector keeps separating from the links as shown in the attached picture. Any little bit of force will cause it to disconnect. I'm certain the little springbar is in right and the other connector is perfectly fine.

At this point I'm leaning towards getting a better version (hopefully) without gaps. Who sells the best link bracelet out of the US at the moment?

If you bought it from Freedomoclock09 they should give you 180 days warranty on it. Contact them and show them your pics. Let us know if they resolved your problem.

Do those who buy the clone sports bands or clone leather bands worry about the dye that's been used could be carcinogenic? I only ask because a few months ago a major retail chain here in a Australia did a massive recall on particular Jeans that they were selling; these were been manufactured in China and after a spot check by our authorities it was discovered the dye used was carcinogenic.

I understand we are talking about two completely separate products, but how much faith do you guys have that the dyes and pigments used in these bands have gone through the required testing?

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Here in the U.S we don't always get the news from down under.

After the initial activity, and hope of continued improvement, it seems the experience of some of these leather loops recently have not been very positive - exposed adapters, fraying of band edges, still noticeable gaps, misaligned slots. I dunno. It's more potluck/crapshoot. The photos look great, but you know they're not the real thing, nor guarantee what you get.

Asked the seller for pictures so it's a wait and see game now! I'll report back if I have any news to report!
