I turn off True Tone because the blue tint does not bother me. I fall asleep very easily, too. No eye strain.

I hate it as well which is why I turned it off.

Me too. I have my off. I like true town on lcd iPhones but I don’t like it on my xs. Since then I turned it off on my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro.

I turned off both Night Shift and True Tone - while I liked them, they end up slowly dimming the brightness of my display to an extreme. They do it individually, and together. Never had a problem after I turned them off.

People were (and still are) raging about displays on iDevices that are too yellow.

Then Apple introduces TrueTone that essentially makes the display yellow.

Fans = *Applause*

Me = Whaaaat?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the p*** filter. Seems like a pointless feature Apple added because they didn't have anything else exciting.

True tone can make displays cooler, it ranges based on the environment.
