No way. Those Kotobukiya models are the best! First, they're expensive if they're the Kotobukiya ones because they're imports. For Christmas a friend of mine bought my boyfriend the Chewie. Last year I bought Boba Fet and a Scout Trooper. There is so much detail in these things regardless of character it's a nice compliment to the mac. And yes, I am female.

Where'd you find Leia? Disneyland has Chewie, the one I couldn't find for under $150 last year, she picked it up for $150 less some friend's Disneyland discount and somehow landed it for $50! Anyway I am as thrilled as you are I think. I'm silly like that.

I am going to pick up the Yoda and display him. Even though my desk is mostly comic book heros, the Yoda is sexy. My boyfriend however will not open his. We have four 45 gallon containers and about 20 12x12x12 boxes that contain star wars figures still in packages. I'm not allowed in the closet...ever! hahaha

I'm pleased you share my enthusiasm. Very nice!

Indeed, it is a Kotobukiya model. I got it here, for $79 USD:

Wow, that's great - you have to wonder what Carrie Fisher thinks of that (and if she has one herself :D).
I remember an interview where Carrie Fisher described her panic about that costume and how she thought she was too fat for it.

About marketing of her likeness, she supposedly said this.

Heh. I've got myself a 6 foot tall Jack Skellington plush replica from the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

It represents my Live gamertag, Skel1ingt0n.

For some inexplicable reason, this thread has made me want to purchase Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu figures... which means you've broken my brain. DAMN YOU!
