Not computer related, other than the fact that she's sitting on the desk next to my 30" Cinema. I recently found this 10" tall "Slave Leia" model. Is it not sublime?

I had to share. (My wife is less enthusiastic about it.)

i like your way of setting up the monitors. is that smaller one to the left the 20" Cinema?
i never knew we could put 1 screen vertical and the other one horizontal. the OSX will be able to detect if a screen is horz or vert? i'm asking this because i dont see any "1200x1920" settings in my computer.

i'm thinking of discarding my dual 23" and getting that setup..

oh and what are those 2 blue lit things under the 30"?

I'm actually constructing a slave leia costume, but the holidays were most unkind to my figure. I want to wear it for the Star Wars Celebration IV. There's going to be a Slave Leia contingent there!

The screen on the left is a 20" HP LP2065 - but not a widescreen - it's 4:3, and rotated. (A 16:9 screen, rotated, would not match the height of the 30" Cinema - it would be too "tall".) The ATI 1900 XT drivers under OS X allow for rotated displays. I am not sure which other cards' drivers do - the last few nVIDIA cards I had in my desktop Macs did not allow it.

the HP LP2065 has the very same type of Philips LCD panel that the 30" Cinemas use - the images match perfectly.

1200x1600 on the left. 2560x1600 on the right. Works well.

I did take an amusing pic of my 20" Cinema (plastic style) rotated, next to the 30". Not such a great solution. (I just propped it up on something behind it.)

Oh - and the two blue things are 4-line LCD status readouts I (sort of) built. See my article about it, w/ gallery links, here:

thanks.
those things on that "small" screen are dashboard widgets. are they there all the time or you just put them there to take a screenshot of them?

but i see them in every shot, so i guess you use some program do make them appear all the time?
.. or you simply just did the "defaults write com.apple.dashboard devmode YES" thing?
