And my understanding is you're getting no notifications of any type (visual or audio) on your phone for incoming texts when the phone is locked, correct? Everything is normal when the phone is unlocked, correct? At least the actual texts are coming through when you open Messages. Does the Messages icon badge work (the red circle on the app's icon on the home screen that shows the number of new notifications)?

No. I’m not getting any notifications of texts if I’m doing something else. Like if I’m reading on this forum on my phone, I’ll close it, and have 10 text messages for which I never got notification.

Curious to see if changing this setting helps.

I definitely have banners and notifications when phone is locked, but sometimes if I’m on Instagram or something reading, I’ll hear my ipad dinging and that’s how I know I have texts - nothing comes up or makes noise on my phone.

It seems your phone is deciding you don’t want to be disturbed with text banners or noises while you do other stuff.

I hope the Time Sensitive turning on fixes it.

In post 6, you said, "so I realized I get a ding notification if my phone is unlocked". So you're saying that's only true if your phone is unlocked and on the home screen (not if you're in an app)?
