Do you think i should just delete the original ssd and take the risk to make a clone of the clone hdd on it?
Yes, that's what the backup is for exactly. I do it all the time when testing things... I'm not sure what makes you thinks it's a risk.

Hi friends, the cloning went well and now the ssd starts from slot 1. my next step would be to update from High Sierra to Mojave. The MP51.0089.B00 firmware is already I stalled. Can I directly install Mojave or is the Mojave patcher still recommended?
Thank you fo telling me and sorry I did forget this!Paradiseapple
Can you go to your macrumors account and look for " signature " - then make one and tell us which cMP you have ( 4,1 ? 5.1 ? 4,1 flashed to 5,1 ? ), which CPU(s) , how much RAM, which GPU you have installed etc. Everything relevant . . then we can more easily help you.
My SIGNATURE is at the bottom of this post. Can you see it ?
i am excited and all do this tomorrowMojave patcher is only needed for unsupported Mac models. You can directly install Mojave downloaded from the App Store.
