Note 4 problems after Marshmallow Update

How old are these phones that are failing? I have a Note 4 and a Note Edge, both purchased in January of 2015 and both still work great today.

I don't use mine as phones anymore. I just use the Note 4 to control my TV and stereo.

My Note 4 is from the very first batch I guess, I got it a few days before the international release in October 2014.
