So, upgraded both my MBP and iPhone 16P and now, notifications from iPhone doesn't work. I used to be able to receive notifications from any app I chose but now out of nowhere it just shows a couple of them that I have no interest in receiving anyway?

Any ideas how to fix this?

Contacted Apple about the same, they scheduled an engineer callback and they don't seem to have a solution to the same, they've escalated the matter to apple developers they said.

I'm seeing the same issue.

Updated to 15.0 on MacBook Pro and 18.0 on iPhone 14 Pro and all my iPhone apps appeared in this list in MacBook notifications settings and would come though on my MacBook as expected.

After updating both to .1 versions now only a few of my iPhone apps are appearing in this list (it's as if Apple knew which ones I really wanted and removed them!?)

I've rebooted both and uninstalled and reinstalled various apps but still no change.

Is there anyway to refresh the list apps in the settings?

Oddly, some more apps showed up this morning in the notifications from iPhone list. Not all certainly, but more than were there yesterday. Very strange behavior.

I noticed that too, however in my case, some apps that were there yesterday are not showing up today and some new ones are showing up. Funny...

I think I figured out what is going on, possibly. The apps must have to be updated on the iPhone in order for notifications to work with 15.1. I just updated a few apps and they are now appearing on the notifications from iPhone list.

I’ve been getting random alerts for no apparent reason on my HomePods, iPhone, and Apple Watch. As a longtime Apple user, I’m pretty confident in my troubleshooting skills, but this one had me stumped to the point of calling Apple Support. Unfortunately, the rep couldn’t resolve the issue and said I was the only person on record with this problem. Sure, that sounded like bull 💩, but that’s how it goes. 🤷‍♂️

What kind of alerts?

I regularly check and update all of my apps and it’s not making any difference for me.

You might be onto something. My list under "Notifications from iPhone" has been growing too, and the new ones do seem to be the ones that were updated today. I wonder what happens with the ones that don't get frequent updates...

I think so too. I didn't receive any notifications yesterday after updating, I did notice a single notification from my iphone this morning though. I looked on the "Notifications from iPhone" setting, and sure enough, it was checked.
My most frequently used app for this, my vpn authenticator app for work, is not on the list though.
Wish i could force it to display notifications for that - it used to .

I've had several app updates throughout today and none of them have appeared in the list.

They were all there after the upgrade to 15.0 but since 15.1 the list of apps has greatly reduced and isn't growing.

Duo just got an update and now appears in the "Notifications from iPhone" list! Had to search it in the app store and update manually there.
After tasting the convenience of getting 2FA notifications on my Mac, I didn't want to go back. :)

Only one new app has showed up on the list today.

This is borked, Apple borked the feature, not sure how publications aren’t talking about this

I was trying to figure out how the list of iPhone apps gets updated.

I found an iPhone app that is in the list with notifications on Mac mirroring turned on and then went to that app's notifications settings on the iPhone and turned off Show on Mac. I waited a few minutes and then took a look at the settings on Mac. I could see that the mirroring had now turned off. I then did the reverse to turn it back on and it showed as turned back on on the Mac. So at least there appears to be some updating on the Mac when the changes are made on the iPhone.

I did uninstall an iPhone app that did not appear on the list from my iPhone and then reinstall it and enable notification but the app still didn't get added to the list in the Mac settings.

I'm giving up now and just hope that Apple fix this great new feature so it works properly.

Oh, you're running the beta.

Let's hope this fix makes it in to the public release in December so we can actually use this great new feature to the full extent!
