I am assuming you can add your calendar..facebook...mail etc into the swipe down notification list....

I have went into settings and enabled the banners & alerts to the notification centre & lock screen but still all I am getting is the weather and scrolling stock app:mad:

Nothing else is showing

Anyone any idea's ?

Cheers in advance :apple:

Sorry is there are duplicate threads only this is doing my head in :D

Only new notifications will show up. So from here on out, when you get a Fbook message, wall post, etc. or a e-mail it will show up in the notification center.

well I can't seem to keep them in the order I've put them?

Make sure under Settings -> Notifications, you've got it set to sort manually instead of by date. That should keep everything in the order you want.

The weather is not showing up on my iPad in Notifications. Is it supposed to?

When I get notifications how do I open the related app? Let's say I have iMessage and email notifications, how do I open the iMessage app from lock screen? Tapping doesn't work.

Nope...

No facebook updates unless i go into the actual app:confused:

alot of my notifications wouldnt work on the lock screen if I had a passcode on my device. Really annoying so now I have to either choose to not get any emails on my lockscreen, or not have my Work exchange email and calendar on my phone at all.

I'm having trouble with Facebook and Twitter on the iPAD. No notifications at all. They are all turned on in settings and set to banner. Facebook is has all push settings on. Twitter has everyone enabled. I've some folks on other boards reporting the same thing with Twitter. I've rebooted, reset settings, reinstalled the app. Nothing. I get mail notifications just fine.

Go to settings and scroll all the way down to facebook. Check your push notifications setting there.

Already did that mate everything is as it should be... I find it staggering that your calendar or reminders don't show either on your notification centre....2 widgets

I have gotten notifications from facebook, calendar, reminders, mail, ESPN score center all to work perfectly on my lock screen and notification center on my iPhone 4. It's not a problem with the iOS 5. Try a hard reset of your phone.

I keep putting them in order and they keep getting rearranged. I just sat here and put them in order 3 different times. Went out of Settings>Notifications and back in and they're back to how they were before not in the order I want them!

Also, what Twitter notifications do you get? I don't want a notification every time someone I follow tweets or my phone will not stop beeping. I never really did this much on my phone other than to go into the Twitter app and read whatever was most recent or to look for specific things, never had notifications set up from the Twitter app. I turned them on last night but still haven't gotten any notifications. What will come through from Twitter as a notification? Sorry if that makes no sense! LOL! I'm still in figuring out mode, trying to decide what to use and what not to use in iOS5. :apple:

Yeah thats all well and great, but do these "meetings" have reminder set themselves on the actual invitation, i suppose thats one issue, also something must be wrong, because my ip4 and the wifey's, well ours displays the entire upcoming calendar events just fine. Play with it some more, it is displayed, you're just not getting it.
