yea but not as colorful and pretty as notifiedpro...

also pertaining to my first question, can notifiedpro distinguish between different notifications from different apps and show the appropriate icons? i see beejive icons and message icons and that smiley face icons which is ebuddy?

lockinfo can't do this as it only has "!" for everything!

I take it so..? I'm not sure because the developer didn't respond to some of the same questions youre asking me.
 
The icons are showing up for me. But, I still can't install the Notification Bar for Notified, or Statusbar Notifications from Cydia....it's been down all day.

It's been down for the past few days. I'd like to get both of these as well.

Why aren't these 2 items packaged with Notified Pro? It only seems to make sense to have all of these together for a complete experience.

Is there anything else I need for Notified Pro or is this it?

Check every few hours - i wasn't able to get it this morning, but I tried again at 12pm (est) and it worked.
 
I needed libstatusbar for the icons to work


I forget are the icons suppose to be in color?

like sms & phone

or where they always gray/shaded

edit:

when i open an app the icons are in color

in the homescreen there gray
 
Oh maaaan, the newest Notification Grip update is awesome! Its a beautiful thing!

I am so glad that the developer for Notification Grip is putting his time and effort because the standard notification bar plugin for Notified is sub-par.

Is anyone else having frequent mail app crashes? It is definitely notified causing it for me because the issue goes away when I remove it

May look into grip again as mentioned above.

Hoping it is better than it was because the version I had a few months back was super glitchy

Yep, definitely crashing the mail app with the new version. I went into Notified > Settings > Manage Alerts > Mail > Unchecked Log Notifications, and it seems to not crash the mail app anymore. But I want this feature. Hopefully it'll get an update soon.

I ditched it altogether for the time being. Once it gets updated with the proper catchall icon and fixes for all te bugs, I'll reinstall
 
New update 1.5.1 in cydia

When I try to upgrade it says I get a popup saying size mismatch

What is that about? Is not letting me upgrade



EDIT:

I had to change black notified@2 back to black notifiedSB@2 & the silver one too


then it downloaded ok


and it appears that they fixed the "!" for other push apps
 
Finally was able to download the Status Bar, WOW! I am so impressed with this app and for 2.99 it is a STEAL. Thank you so much to the devs... my biggest gripe with iOS vs. Android is the notification system that Android currently has. This does the trick and then some.

Awesome job.

Yep, this does look awesome. I still can't use it for mail though. Crashes the mail app every time.

Interesting... mine is working fine. Stock Mail app?

My one gripe at the moment - i don't want my screen to turn on every time I get an email (I get some work emails at 3AM and my iPhone is docked next to my bed).

I downloaded Popup Blocker but there isn't an option for Mail in there.

Any ideas?

Yes, using the latest Notified Pro, 1.5.1, it crashes the mail app. And I think you can adjust the notifications for mail in the preferences for Notified.

I keep getting a white blank statusbar , it's annoying cause when I play videos or browse pics it doesn't go away


I have to respring to get rid of it


Is this happening to anyone else?
