I will agree with you on this but honestly I quit thinking of my Surface as a tablet in general like the iPad and started thinking of it as a full desktop OS PC in a tablet form factor. I would love to have an awesome tablet mode (i.e. windows 8) but now just never turn on tablet mode at all. Windows 10 in desktop mode is surprisingly easy to navigate with touch.And one can also say the Surface Book without its keyboard does not become a tablet experience. I have a Lenovo Miix, which is a Surface Pro clone, and Windows 10 tablet mode leaves a lot to be desired.
