@LEOMODE or anybody really that has a clue of what they're doing, I'm getting this error when trying to install fakenvidia.kext with your script in terminal on Sequoia:
mount_apfs: volume could not be mounted: Permission denied
mount: / failed with 66

I've disabled SIP in recovery
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated!

Which installkext are you using?
The latest is at https://gist.github.com/joevt/a4ef4cd2e1485d0dd595893007bdfd6a
The default install location should be /Library/Extensions instead of /System/Library/Extensions

Thanks for your help!
I'm no longer getting that error messgae using the latest installkext you linked above and the fakenvidia.kext is installed to the /Library/Extensions folder but after a restart and I try the sleep function my displays go black for a second but the fans and drives don't turn off and then display is back on again after a couple of seconds? I've also added the correct PCI device number for my 4090 into my Info.plist and shared here for ref. Thanks again for your help!

Did you make the change to the Info.plist before installing the kext?
I don't have any RTX GPUs so I don't know what the correct behaviour looks like.

Yes, I made the change to the info.plist before installing the kext. Not sure what else I can do really at this stage…
