Same in N. Wales, North West England (I'm on the border).

At least now I know I'm not alone.

Turns out o2 sucks in Ireland, and Wales, and England...

Giving o2 an exclusive licence to sell the iPhone really was an insult to Apple's customers and fans.

It's working just fine for me..... oh that's right, I'm on Vodafone, who have a reliable network ;):D

Been off in Stoke on Trent for a couple of hours now. O2 really need sort these issues out.

O2 Data Network Is Down

Not sure why it took me all day to just think "I'm going to call them". So I did (100) and get a pre-recorded voice message saying they are having trouble with the network and you "may" be effected.

We should all start a complaint against O2 as this happens way more than it should and they never ever say what the problem is - could be anything.

Anyway from Edinburgh - Data Network Is Down

Realyy?

Same here. Thank god for jailbreaking and ultrasn0w

See I have the option to end contract with O2 in October, and I would Unlock the 3GS I have to T-Mobile. As before O2 came along with their iPhone contract only in November 2007, I was with T-Mobile. The worry is, will T-Mobile or even Vodafone be able to supply me with the same service as I have?

• Unlimited Texts
• Unlimited Data through 3G / And the various WiFi hotspots O2 chucked in the package with the iPhone only contract.

FOR the same price as I am paying now, or for less?

Ta, M

T-mobile are currently doing a sim only deal where you get unlimited internet, unlimited texts and 600 mins for £20/month.

No wifi hotspots though.

Dead in weston, it seems to be nationwide. I am just waiting on my contract ending to go to Vodafone. Really don't want to pay £150 leaving fee.
Ironically my call failed while I was on the phone complaining to them

Was iffy in Essex last weekend, took about 6 hours for a MMS to come through, sent by someone in the same rooms as me!

Was taking upto a couple hours for txts to come through too in a couple of cases:confused:

Well, I know Vodafone's "Unlimited Data" is 500mb, so that's not an option IMO, and don't you have to pay extra to make use of T-mo's WiFi?

I think there is a 500MB and a 5GB bundle. Not sure of prices. I don't pay my phone bill so not worried about these things

O2's unlimited data is 300MB FYI.

No it isn't. O2's "Unlimited Data for the iPhone" is Unlimited. They scrapped the Fair Usage Policy. And I know I have used more than 300mb in one month. FYI.

Oh Yeah, but do you really use 5GB monthly? And 500mb is too little. I would be happy with 1GB as a minimum and 2GB monthly as a Max.
