This is not your October 2022 challenge, but the monthly challenge that’s the same for every month
Yeah I don't understand why it's like that. If I complete move goal every day, I will automatically have an award for that anyway.
But yeah it's my October challenge. Weird.

(and I haven't complete monthly move goals for a couple of years. Not even close. Not sure why it suddenly goes tough on me 😡)

Edit: You're right. This just comes today. 😀

My October is harder than September. Still on track though.
Good to hear your on track with yours and sorry to hear its harder compared to September.

When i was reading September's challengers it seemed more people were posting harder objectives to complete as opposed to easier ones but with October's more posted easier challenges.
Maybe its just a coincidence with the people posting was well??

Apple threw me a new one this month. 4 Yoga workouts of 5min or more. Seems odd that 5min is the threshold. I do enjoy yoga quite a bit, so this isn’t even a challenge.View attachment 2090066

I don't seem to get any gimmies like this. I get the 'close your move ring 30 times this month', and I have one day to slack off, and 'Burn 200,000 calories', etc... 🥵

I think it’s a pretty small demographic that post here to say what the Apple algorithm is doing. My mistake is completing every challenge since I got an AW back in October 2020. So not surprised they are getting progressively harder.

Since I got my very first AW only a week ago, this is all new to me. Looks like I'm already making the same mistake as you 😅

Well, in my experience, the good thing (if there is one) is that if I miss a really big one, the next month seems more easily achievable. Eventually it backs down and doesn't try to kill me. Last months was hard for what I was going through at the time, so this month is way more attainable. Coincidence?

I think it was two years ago: I missed three months in a row, and the next was almost as easy as falling out of bed. I had it by the beginning of the second week.

I haven't decided if the ring goals are to coach me, punish me, or inspire me. It does seem that the more I achieve, the more painful the goals get. It doesn't seem to take into account my age or the weather, etc. One month was 'Run x number of minutes this month', when I have near absolute zero running intervals ever in Apple Health, or Strava.

Punishment, harassment, or just clueless.
