iMessage sync has been fine. SMS sync hasn’t been reliable for me in all three iOS 17 betas so far

everything worked well in iOS 16 / Ventura

I've installed and reverted back twice on my iPad 12.9' M2, tried iPadOS 17 Dev beta 2 then tried Beta 3, still too unstable and buggy. back on 16.5.1(c)

I had beta 1 installed but for me it was too buggy.. sounds more stable now

Beta 1 was so bad that I was repenting not taking a backup to revert. Beta 4x2 is much more stable, however I faced a bug yesterday where it would not accept my password and I couldn't reboot as well as the reboot slider was behind the password screen. Eventually after repeated attempts, I saw the slider pop up on the screen which allowed me to reboot.

I would’ve loved to try it out on my 14 Pro Max, but I’m not upgrading to the 15 Pro Max this year, and want my 14 Pro Max to feel like a brand new phone in September with the new update and a new case. That should tide me over until the upgrade itch is over for me in November.

Yeah and I didn’t try the iOS 16 beta on my 12PM. My 12PM is still on 14.1, so the update to 16 was big for me. My 14PM will feel new next month with iOS 17.
