I have no intention of getting anyone to use a pc, i use both. I dont get it people act like because i actually recomended something made by M$ that i want them to switch. This thread was started with the sole intent of telling the mac users that if they also use a pc on a regular basis that office 03 is better the rest of the office apps. What is so wrong with that.

Again, TechTV disagrees if you already have Office 2K or XP.

Fine let techtv disagree. i dont care. The people writing their reviews are the same as me, i like it they dont. It was just one mans opinion. I did not claim to have superior taste than techtv.

But you're making claims as if they are an accepted truth. No 'IMO' or any kind of qualification.

Just as you feel it's your duty to point out the update and how cool you think it is, I feel it's mine to show what professional software reviewers are saying.

I was unaware that an "IMO" is required. so from now on anything you post i will take is for the the gods honest truth unless you put some sort if IMO. Give me a break. Many people hear use a pc also. And yes i was impress by the new office. I did recomend it. Cant you tolerate differing opinions.

I do tolerate them, take my opinion for what it is worth. If you dont want to use a product I like I could care less. It is just when people attack me for recomending something they dont like that i get upset.

Why can't we all just get along.

Each Office upgrade does include new and/or improved features. It's up to you or your company to perform a cost/benefit analysis to determine whether an upgrade makes sense.
Cost/benefit analysis never said it was worthwhile to upgrade. New versions not getting along with old versions or new operating systems not getting along with old software help get you to upgrade. Running Windows 3.1 is no longer a viable option.

If you think it was an attack on you, you're sorely mistaken.

Al I did was present an alternative opinion, and you decided to take it personally.
