I use office 2011 on several macs.

sierra and El capitan.

Use excel alot for work and not slow at all.

Also I hate outlook and use thunderbird for email on my macs.

I dislike 365 as do not want be paying microsoft every year to hire/rent a program.
Yes i know 2011 will go out of date one day but I'll cross that bridge later.

For me I haven't noticed any issues with 365 and I wouldn't go back to 2011 personally

^^^^I switched to Office 2016 last week due to this:

https://support.office.com/en-us/ar...h-Sierra-80bbd3cc-2412-4593-988a-1c5607b26b28

Office 2016 was just updated to V 15.35 this morning:

Only issue I have had, other than learning some new commands, is that one of my spread sheets in Excel has a vertical white band going through one of the columns. Though it prints fine. Also on some of my templates in Word and Excel - fonts are screwed up and spacing may be screwed up. All fixable though.

Personally I am very impressed with Office 2016, however and it's a big one not on the Mac for multiple reasons. Certainly on Windows 10 Office is works for all my needs.

If I decide to move forward with a new Mac, I will also move up to Office 2016 on this platform, as Office 2011 has run it's course.
