When I right click under any Office 2011 app, I've got a crash, any idea to solve it ?

Thanks in advance

I don't know how to fix your problem, but in Word I just tried a right click and its working fine. Word version is 14.2.3 , perhaps you simply need to update office.

Can you change your trackpad settings to another right-click method in System Preferences? Not a fix mind you, just curious.

Move or delete your microsoft user data folder from documents. (make sure your email is backed up somewhere if you use outlook).

Are you using bettertouchtool? I was having the same issue with Chrome when Lion first came out. It might be occurring with ML as well.

I uninstalled it, and I've got the same issue ! I've got a Razer Death Adder driver, could it create an issue ?

Seems like I just solved it.
For me, it was the Antidote plugin in contextual menu.
It can be something else that fails in contextual menus.
Go to Mac HD/library/Contextual Menu Items and clean up!

Hope that helps.

Thank you!!

This solution just helped me too after a very frustrating day with Word and Excel crashing each time I attempted to format anything. However, will the solution affect Antidote in any way?

Thanks again!

This issue can be caused by any pluggin to the Finder. When it happens, click the "more information" --- there is a lot of developer debugging information, but in there, within the first 100 lines, there is a statement that lists the Offending code... that is the pluggin causing your issues.

From there, you would have to go about removing the plist in the /Library/LaunchAgents directory ... reboot... good to go

HD/library/Contextual Menu Items/ Fritz plugin

The clean up of the folder HD/library/Contextual Menu Items/ helped!
In my folder it was only one file named "fritz...plugin", nothing with "Antidote".
