Wow, I'm impressed. I still hope they come out with a beefier iPhoto-esk app. Aperature is definitely over kill for me, but something that is similar to photoshop express with with apple style and integration would be awesome.

Looking at all of Apple's other Major Apps, Maybe Aperture will diverge into Apperture Pro ($499) and Apperture Express (at $299). It makes sense... look at what they've done with Logic, Final Cut, etc. I'm not a photo professional, so dropping the cash on the Pro Apps doesnt make sense (though between Photoshop and PSE, Im much more comfortable using Photoshop).

I've got to second Gary's sentiments. After a HUGE fiasco I had when I decided "gee, wouldn't it be great if I reinstalled OS X and a mixup put it on the wrong drive," I'm back up and running and am now happy to say that I am getting my Aperture library rebuilt (luckily I recovered nearly 97% of my images and the rest should still be on my DVD disks.

Just working with Aperture is a dream compared to Adobe's "Bridge." Once I'm back up and running, I'll edit some cool screenshots in here. Once I buy that D200 (upgrading my S2 finally since its not Aperture supported), I feel that the other side of Aperture will be unleashed. Can't wait!
