If you are not on a tight budget, get the 2.4 now. If you need to save the money, just order the 2.2 and wait it out. Dont miss out on the ipod deal, so dont buy from amazon (unless or course the money on taxes you would save by ordering from amazon could go toward buying an ipod)

I also have amazon prime and it really is great if you buy a lot of stuff from them. I think the macbook pro is eligible for free super saver shipping which isn't too bad either, though not as fast of course.

For me the better cpu,video card and extra hard drive space was worth the 500.00 extra. If you want it now then I would say go get the 2.4. I am happy that I did and never had any regrets. Ether one you will love!
