I bought it for .99¢, it's pretty good but I don't game enough on my iPhone to warrant $4.99 for it. I've bought a few others at that price and hardly ever play them.

Maybe this is it. It's not emotive for me at all. Some of the animations are rewarding and it's a neat little game. But without the back-history and/or youth connection I'll have to admit I'm struggling to be interested. Will keep at it for a few days to see what happens. The few power-ups I've achieved are promising :).
The addictiveness is the luck factor. I can't even remember how many times that an insanely lucky shot saved my butt. Just watching the ball bounce around is like watching the Price is Right or Press Your Luck (Whammy!). I've woken my wife up by giggling and yelling out loud in amazement that I made a shot. Love the game.

Fun game and glad I got it for £0.59 - never considered it at £2.99 and having played it I think it's a bit too pricy.

what other game can you guys recommend which would be like this?
Peggle is really great, would love to explore similar things...

I saw this thread and I was going to pick the app up, but now it's back to 4.99. It's not that I don't think it's worth it... but I don't have enough to buy it.

Differences since 3.0?

Has anyone noticed differences in Peggle since the 3.0 upgrade?

My fonts seem different, larger? Some visual elements seem larger or changed proportionally.
And the game has a stutter at times?

Never would have bought it @ the $5 price. However, after buying it for $1 it provides well enough enjoyment to have justified the $5 price. Really fun game.

I used mroogle to search for peggle and this is the first thread I found. I just wanted to join fellow peggle addicts and possibly even start a support group for it. At first I just thought whatever, then I played a little more... and a little more... and now it is easily my favorite game on my iPhone.

I held off until the 99 cent version. It is an amazing game. I would have paid the full amount knowing it now.

Would like the same company to come up with a Snood game for iPhone to complete the experience.

Okay I need to stop buying games for their regular prices. I bought Peggle a few days ago for $5, and this is probably the 4th time I bought a game right before it went on sale :p

Well, there you go - a new app. Let everyone know what you just bought so the rest of us know what is going to go on sale! LOL!!

I still only have 49 cents on my account, so hey, at least you know ONE person that didn't get it for 99 :D

It's worth it for $5.

I'm still playing it. The Challenges level is tough!

Check out StoneLoops of Jurassica currently £0.59 quite like peggle and for the low price you can't really complain

Yeah, I've been thinking of buying that one.... but then remembered that it's only 99¢, and decided to stop wasting my time thinking about it.
