Hahaha, its completely amazing. How they get away with such negligence before people actually stop accepting it. So glad I switched. Not everyone wants a laptop in this world.
apparently updating a GPU and CPU is too much work for Apple.

Mac Pro is dead, just accept it. Long live W10!

Thats it. Gonna sell my nMP. Already built a hackintosh easily 2x more powerful for half the cost. Prolly make a slow transition to Linux or Win.

Well, there's still the rumor from Macworld's source that says Mac Pros are being refreshed next month...

Personally I'm going to step up my efforts on figuring out Linux software replacements for my OS X essentials, and build a dual-bootable machine (Linux/Windows) probably in February. I've been trying stuff out in VMs for a while now already, but I will start doing my research on hardware as well.

I agree with most of what you said, but "long live W10?" Right now, W10 is almost as bad as Sierra. Someone needs to get it together with a better OS, and preferably quick.

Well Surface Studio is probably going to get my money now.

I hated that they show an editors desk with a laptop and running 2 external displays and attached raids. Guess what Apple. Most true professionals in the film, 3D, and music industries are sitting at a workstation and want a true desktop machine.

Is it me or has the price of the Mac Pro actually gone up?

I dont have any particular problems in W10, I think both Mac OS Sierra and Win10 is fine except for a few annoyances. But I dont want an OS from a company that doesnt update their computers and gives the user hardly any choice.

Im done with Mac....period. GOnna keep my Mac mini as a entertainment system and my Retina Macbook for trivial tasks until I want a new laptop, then Mac no more.

Gonna go down swinging eh?

sad but looks like the Mac Pro is dead... I don't understand why they spent so much energy on design, manufacturing, marketing to just leave it out to pasture.

It's entirely possible that sales simply tanked. A poll here in the Mac Pro forum showed that 50% of Mac Pro users/owners here felt the nMP was a failure.
