OK Post here if you ordered on 10th May but item has not shipped

Mine has shipped but is showing an expected delivery date of 5 June for some reason. Possibly because I've got a new MBP on the same order although those were available when ordered so I have no idea why that would cause a delay.

I hate the waiting, but it could be worse, I could be back in New Zealand, they're not getting them until July !!!!!
32gb Wifi, Australia. Still Prepared for Shipment. No way it can make it here from China in 3 days.
Why would it be shipping from China, I reckon they are here in Australia already, will ship out from Apple to the TNT depot for holding.
Where they then will wait to be dispatched out to us on the 28th.

My God, stop all the whining. The iPads are already in country. They are staged there and then shipped out on the proposed day of delivery. They will arrive, and this is how it is done.
If you don't want to see all the whining why the hell are you a member, why bother being part of a mac forum/community.
What did you think the forum would be all smilies and happiness.... Grow up, people here have paid a lot of money and want what the paid for when they were promised it.
Some members have proof that they are shipped from China, if you have info to the contrary why don't you stop whining at us whining and show us what you got to verify your claims.
Who cares where they come from, and you are not the only one to pay for an iPad. I purchased 4 of them and they all arrived the exact same way, so your paid a lot of money statement is moot. The point I made if you had bothered to comprehend what I wrote was that all of the iPad shipments are pre-staged (do you know what this means) for delivery on promised date. I will go slow for you. Apple ships the iPads from say China. They arrive several days in the prospective countries of delivery where they wait with a local delivery service until the actual promised delivery date. When this blessed day arrives, the pre-staged iPads are loaded on a truck and sent to your house for delivery. Thus, you will not see a lot of movement as the devices are not moving. This is pretty easy to understand for most. Not so for others.
My iPad (3G version) went through the same Fedex process for shipment in the US. This is not rocket science. In short, your iPads are either already in country or will arrive one or two days before to be delivered. Pretty simple.
If you had bothered to read my first post, you would have read that my initial thoughts where similar to what you just mentioned..... But others in the thread say all orders come strait from China and are able to verify that.
Still it does not matter where they come from but where they finally end up. They can come from China, from Bulgaria, the dark side of the moon. So what? Mine came from China, and sat in a NJ Fedex depot for two days. So does it matter where they come from? No... They will sit in a Fedex depot, or a UPS depot, or TNT depot and will deliver on the 28th or whatever delivery date promised. So to summarize, the debating about where they come from is pointless as it does not impact the delivery. Unless they are coming from Iceland.

The facts are that everyone that has had there iPad shipped so far has had there tracking information say it's being sent direct from the factory in China like every other Apple product dose. Apple ships direct from the factory. They don't normally ship from the factory in China to a warehouse in another country and then reship the product. Apple's shipping method of shipping direct from the factory to your door is well known.

My 2 iPads were shipped from China to NJ where they sat in the Fedex depot until delivery. Not sure why this is too hard for you to understand.
