-A full filesystem, or (more realistically) a seperate place to store any files if you want to. We NEED this.

-full iCloud syncing. iWorks file syncing is completely stupid right now. You can't get your computer's files unless you use something like Dropbox, but even if you do that, you can't re-save the files back into Dropbox once you're done editing. Dropbox doesn't even let you MOVE files. It's a terrible "solution"

If you don't mind paying the fee, dropDAV is a service which makes Dropbox WebDAV capable. That, in turn, allows you to save document from iWork back to Dropbox. It's the solution I use and it works well. I also have a pointer set up on my household iMac which syncs the entire Documents folder with Dropbox. So all my documents are in the cloud, available for round tripping on my iPad, and also backed up to my Mac.

In hindsight I probably should've picked a cloud solution that has an iPad app with more robust features. Too lazy to switch though :)

Ageed though that the Dropbox app itself is week. It needs much stronger file management capabilities. I keep Goodreader around for this kind of thing if needed. But it's really a shame that the Dropbox app itself is so basic.
