Well, what ram did you buy? I know they had the super cheap ram there with the white and brownish red package and I could have bought that for $29 each, but I didn't trust it and went with the $108 each kingston ram in the green package.

no, its kingston and i bought it for like 150 from apple. but i will take out the new ones and but in the 512s i guess...

pull both ram sticks out and go back to factory ram. DOES IT WORK?

put one of the 1g sticks in and leave one 512 stick in. DOES IT WORK?

Swap that 1g stick with the other 1g stick leaving the 512 stick alone the whole time. DOES IT WORK?

Stick both 1g sticks back in. DOES IT WORK?

Process of elimination my man.

well i replaced the ram with the old ram i did the disc thing and let it do it apple logo thing for about 20 more minutes and i think its become obvious that the ram is in properly and the ram is not bad but its somehting else... maybe the hard drive?

well i was going to return it anyways to get the new macbook pro but i just needed it to use it for the next week or so. im just pissed off at best buy so whatever, i guess the is NO WAY I CAN FIX THIS STUPID KERNEL PANIC... or whatever the hell it is...thnaks anyway.....:mad::mad:

So your pissed off at best buy because you lost the receipt?

Also from what I gather these kernel panics started after you replaced the ram with new stuff?

Sounds like you buggered the memory board/clips/whatever is down there
