1st, Turn OFF files on demand;
2nd, Thank me at your convenience.

OneDrive files on demand has never worked properly on a Mac (CPU and RAM spikes and hogs) and I now doubt it ever will.
Yes because what I really want to do is to download my entire companys sharepoint directory to my local HDD. I have the 300 TB version of M1 Mini ;)

icloud, onedrive, and google drive are all garbage.
icloud will randomly decide to continuously download the same folder over and over again eating 70-80gb of bandwidth a day.

Google drive, cant even sync shared folders unless you press a bunch of secret keyboard shortcuts on the web version to add it to the drive.

Onedrive randomly decides to chew 100% cpu until the process is quit. It's also sluggish as hell.

Dropbox is the only one that does most things well, supports delta sync (so an entire gb file isnt downloaded in full for a small change) but lately, even this app is getting bloated.

You can manually select the folders (or files) you want to download and change them from time to time as needed…

…or you can keep Files on Demand ON and live with the problems if you can.

MEGA is the only one that will work on a Raspberry Pi. And Mac. And Windows. And Ubuntu-based Linux.

Oh OneDrive...

...WTF are you doing?
