That was BS, as much as i like Marques, how can he give phone of they year to a phone that didn’t get top 2 in any category?
The price, plain and simple. If the 6T was $799 starting price, it would be another flagship. I like one plus and they make great stuff, but the price is the main draw when you consider they have the worst screen, no waterproof and a pretty crappy camera.

the oneplus seems to get a lot of points due to the price as it should

6T DOES have water resistance, they just didn't go through process of certification to keep the costs down. The stock camera DOES kinda suck.... but once you install the ported Pixel 3 Camera apk, then it is REALLY GOOD. The screen is 1080p... SO WHAT? iPhones (PLUS) had 1080p LCD screens until 2017 and it was FINE. Even the Galaxy flsagships have the resolution turned down by default for performance/battery.

OnePlus 6T is the best phone for your dollar right now!

howd you get 20% off for life?

It's called "Hook-Up Discount". It was available for a limited time exclusively via T-Mobile Trucks like 2-3 years ago.
[doublepost=1546980202][/doublepost]I wouldn't think twice about getting the McLaren addition if I had the coin!!!

One of the very few unlocked devices out with Qualcomm modem and support for 600MHz band 71.

Galaxy S9
Galaxy S9+
Galaxy Note 9
LG V40 ThinQ
Moto Z3 Play
OnePlus 6
OnePlus 6T
Pixel 3
Pixel 3XL

The McLaren edition is here to purchase in NZ now, 1350$ NZ.
I'm tempted, the phone looks so good, even with the mini notch, but I'll probably pass as the Note 9 isn't going to be replaced by the 6T in day to day use, not by me anyway, the Note 9 is just too good at everything.
Maybe I'll wait for the Note 10 and see what's available then.

FYI if you have the T-Mobile variant, you can now flash the international ROM and unlock the bootloader without having a SIM unlock (thus having the phone paid off)... then you can get more recent updates from OnePlus, or sign up for the beta program. It will also enable the second SIM slot... you just need to obtain a dual SIM try like the international version. (Although you still need a SIM unlock if you want to use the SIM from another carrier.)

I am on beta, is it worth switching over to stable? or keep staying on beta?
