So the 7t is coming to the U.S. but not the 7t Pro. Sort of the opposite of what happened earlier this year.

But this 7t sounds pretty awesome, it has a flat screen, not that silly curved edge gimmick. And will have the SD855+, 8GB RAM, 90hz display, 3800mAh battery, upgraded camera. Come with Android Q. And cost around $549 or so.

I'd take this over the curved screen 7 Pro.

Sounds great, but I really prefer popup over teardrop...
Still, teardrop > notch.

Other way around for me. I have a 6T but the teardrop feels more like a pimple in the forehead imo. It got so irritating that I turned on the setting to hide it with blacked out flaps and left it like that, even though it really shrinks the effective display area.

If only the 7 Pro would have been flat

It looks like the 7T Pro may make it over here but as the McLaren Edition (Verizon Exclusive?)... at least according to rumors.

I am no fan of curved edge displays. Another reason I avoid Samsung phones last few years, well Lagwiz too.

But a flat screen 7t Pro with wireless charging and IP68 rating would be the best smartphone of 2019.

Excited for the OnePlus event tomorrow, although I think the Oct. 10th event will have more of the news I'm looking for (7T Pro, USA announcements).

I haven't watched anything from their company before, but I'm thankful that Dan from MacRumors made me aware about the 7 Pro with his comparison video a while back.

90Hz screen....dang I may pick one of these up at that sweet price point. Here’s hoping T-mobile has a trade-in deal like they had last year for the 6T.

Like this much more than the OnePlus 7 Pro...hallelujah, no curved edges or pop up cameras! 😁

With the vastly improved camera performance of the 11 Pro Max, I don’t need my second device to be the camera beast that I relied on the Pixel 3XL for.

Unless the Pixel 4 XL shocks me in some way, I think this may be my next Android device.

My mind is made up and I'm looking for two OP7P phones for my wife and I to use on Verizon.
Either I'll find a good deal on something new/barely used online, or maybe I'll purchase directly from OnePlus after a price drop.
But the Verizon OP7TPMcLaren will probably be A) too expensive and B) barely improved.
