Now I know I'm in the honeymoon phase but the Oneplus 15 is tremendous, battery life is next level, and the camera, no matter what people say is actually pretty decent. More than good enough for all to capture those special moments.

Software is really good , I much prefer it to One UI. Apps open quickly and the phone just flies, animations are nice too.

The thing that surprises me most is that for a large phone it doesn't feel like it in the hand, I can one handed it no problem where as my S25 Ultra is a little more unwieldy.

I'll say it again, battery life is insane! 3hrs 44 SOT and it's only down to 75%!

You can keep your airs and edges, this is where it's at for me!

So I’m really considering a move back to android. Last time it cost quite a bit plus the move back. This time I can get the 15 512gb for £100 effectively by trading in my 17 pro max. Next up is the tablet, last time I went for the tab 10 ultra but I’ve heard good things about the OnePlus Pad 3. Anyone used one? I’m currently using M4 iPad Pro will I miss much?

Possibly. I was an avid android fan from launch but have been apple since the SE except a 6 month android experiment last winter. The ecosystem drew me back but my MBA is getting on a bit so wholesale change is possible

Phone is great. It's ever so slightly smaller than the 13 which is great. The 13 was really a tad too big for my car's wireless charger and it had to be pushed in. The 15 fits without any issues.

The battery life is great. Camera is fine. UI is fast with no lag. My casual games work well, and it doesn't get hot at all.

as a oppo x9 pro new user anybody with one plus 15 will be in love with battery and software smoothness
I’ve had both. The OP15 is slightly snappier than the OPF9P. Also, touch response is superior. However, I do prefer the cameras on the OPPO.

How are you finding it compared to your iPhone?

Basically better in every possible way. My iPhone still has my main SIM in it but Oppo will have my 2nd SIM shortly..

Best phone I've ever used to be honest it ticks every possible box

I agree. I still have the Oppo. However, I miss the lock screen widgets and the font is a little large. Yes I know I can change it on the settings but it feels zoomed in compared to my iPhone.

What’s your signal strength been like?

Pretty good to be honest

Agree on lockscreen widgets. Theres basically none

On the Amazon UK you can still get the OP15 for £879 in the 16/512GB format. So are the Oppo’s better cameras worth an extra £220? But then I believe the Oppo has longer software support, as well as this you have the different CPUs & screens used on them. Does the OP15 have the better screen & CPU?

The cameras may way be better but I went for the Oneplus 15 as 8t is more than good enough, I'm extremely happy with my choice. I believe the numbers favour the chip in the 15 but whether you'd notice any discernable difference between them is another thing. Chips are now so powerful these days I'd argue it doesn't even matter.

As for the extra year you get with the software support on the Oppo, it doesn't matter to me as I guarantee I won't have the phone after a year.

Thank you. I tend to keep my phones for a number of years these days that’s why I factor in the software support side of things.

The screen isn’t as bright as the OPPO, but the OP has 165hz refresh but this only applies in a handful of games. The camera system is far superior in the OPPO. Someone summed it up nicely; the OPPO is the OP15 Ultra.

Here’s a comparison of my OP15 vs iPhone 17PM. You can tell which one is which. Low light OP shots aren’t great.

That's me had my Oneplus 15 for 2 weeks now and have decided it's the best phone I've ever had.

It's fast, smooth and I have experienced no software hiccups at all, I love the os but even more the battery life, it's easily a 2 day phone and on 1 occasion it lasted 3 days! I normally finish the day around 50% and that's starting around 90% give or take a few. As I'm getting ready for bed I plug in and 10 to 15 minutes later it's back to 90 odd and I unplug before sleep. Battery drain overnight is around 1%, however, last night I unplugged at 98 and it was the same 7 hours later when I got up.

Despite what some reviews say the camera is actually pretty decent, I certainly have no complaints.
