Free, works on a Mac (Intel or PPC), good maps, and there's lots of people playing. I like the CTF games the best.

he probably means using it thru crossover games. it costs $40 or something (plus money for steam games and stuff), but it is awesome if you play a lot of source based games (hl2 and stuff)

So man, how would you play these games?

Thanks for posting the Urban Terror link. I played for about 5 hrs yesterday evening. Slightly addictive to say the least!!

Im gunna download this for when i'm out lighting off fireworks and what not. I tried downloading Wolfenstein last night because i heard it was very fun but I installed and it made some weird buzzing noise and it wouldn't respond. I would end up having to force to quit. It really pissed me off.

The only good online free FPS available right now is without a doubt WOLFENSTIEN ENEMY TERRITORY. There is still a good amount of players online, the game is actually really good. It's team based game with different classes. With good teamwork it's a blast.

A lot of people are running mods on their servers, that's why it may takes a while to download everything. Be patient, you won't regret it!

The learning curve of W:ET scared me off, what with everyone else on the servers knowing it all inside and out. I tried it briefly and was lost.

But now that I've learned ET:Quake Wars (thanks to built-in tutorials and bot play) I feel prepared to try W:ET again, just for the heck of it. I never uninstalled it. I'll read some online guides and give it a shot again sometime.

I don't much care for real-world war games, but I know from QW that the play style is fun!

The fallin-angels.org server is usually busy, as are both the Alpha Clan's servers. My in-game name is JohnnyAlpha - you can use the search option to find players.
