Care to elaborate....without jailbreaking?

Sure, the new ootunes 2.5 will allow certain streams to run through safari therefore enabling background listening. I'm sure the developer can chime in with a better explanation.

When you are listening through ootunes there is a button that will open the stream in safari for you. It's quite slick and a good idea.

Also, no way to allow music to play in the background eh?

While in the Play Screen look for the Metronome Icon (Second from left) and select.
A pop up will ask do you want to play in safari...select yes. Follow the online screen instructions. It will open the quicktime movie browser and start playing your radio station.

Hit your home key...WHALLA...Background playing while you play games, tweet, use facebook or whatever else your heart desires. You can even go back into safari and open additional web pages to browse.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for tip....works great

You guys are awesome....now if Apple just did it natively with 3rd party programs LOL

Excellent app!

I was actually looking for info on the Rhapsody app, which is great when it works, when I ran across this thread and thought I'd try your app. I like the Radio Roolette, it might be nicer if it could be sub-selected by genre (e.g., I'm in the mood for jazz but not sure exactly what), and also if you could see the "now playing song" view for one's favorite stations. Maybe there is, and I haven

I haven't used it yet, but I like the fact that it has a sleep timer! Going to sleep to music should be a no-brainer, yet I don't see it in the other internet radio apps I've tried.

I like the fact that you can see what the bitrate is supposed to be.

I haven't discovered all the functions yet, but there appear to be quite a few

Could the currently playing tracks be searched on, in theory? I wonder if Apple would allow such a function?

Great app for music lovers.
