I'm not sure whether there are any OpenSCAD users around here, but it's worth a shot. I just discovered this software a few days ago and I'm still getting my head around it. The thing I'm trying to do now is bend/curve an object.
For example, imagine that I have a nice flat cube:
What I want to do is bend it:
As you can see, I have managed to do this, but the method I've devised is convoluted, fiddly, and not easily reusable. It also has a couple of other limitations.
Is there a "good" or "easy" way to accomplish this sort of thing? I'm struggling to find the right search terms. Is anyone able to help?
