I agree -- typing on my Air is much more pleasant and error-free than my MBP.

Sure. I think the MBP is a really nice looking computer, except for the stupid latch. The keyboard, to me, feels great but of course different from the MBA. The screen, if you get a good one, is just as good as the MBA and doesn't have any of the grain of the MBA (but you need be lucky since there is the yellowing issue on many of the MBP).

I love the MBP's matte screen.
In my opinion, the MBP has the best keyboard when comparing the MBP, MBA and MB models.
Love the latch. Keeps my MBP screen secure.

Here's my take on it. I just ordered a MBA after a lot of thought as to whether I should get that or the MBP (I have an old Dell right now). I ultimately chose the MBA because I have an iMac as my primary computer. For all my college friends that have laptops as there primary computer, I advise them against the MBA because I don't think it is intended for those who will use it as such. So, if you have a full-time desktop computer at home, then I would give the MBA another shot and see if you just had bad luck the first time, otherwise go for the MBP.
