Ordered Mac Book yesterday

Macbook would arrive not _that_ soon

Ok,

So I got today and email from Apple, (I ordered last wednesday 29.11)

Voraussichtliches Versanddatum: 07 Dec, 2006.

Voraussichtliches Lieferdatum: 15 Dec, 2006 - 18 Dec, 2006.

So will leave whatever place they have them hidden (China), and be here (Germany) between the Friday the 15th and Monday the 18th.

I was expecting it a bit sooner, but ok.

Mine was stock (White 2.0), except for the additional mini-DVI-DVI connector and English MacOSX (with German keyboard, sadly no Swiss-German keyboard available in Germany :( ).

I'll post if I get better (means sooner arrival) news
 
GOT the Macbook bout 23 mins ago !! NO dead Pixel :D

Now, Where is the correct forum to get help for a switcher?

I can get connected to my local WIFI but I cant run safari ! help please :)

Macbook just shipped

Hallo,

My White Macbook just shipped. Arrival on 14.12, I hope will be sooner ;-)
 
Interesting, so the time it takes to ship varies (of course). That means I need to plan accordingly if I want it by Jan 8th. I should probably order now just to be safe :D
 
Remember a BTO machine is always going to take a long time.

I deliberately ordered a standard machine (so I could swap out at a store if I had probs, and I wanted it quick).

From ordering to it arriving (black macbook) took 6 days (Friday to Thursday).

I ordered a BTO Macbook on August 29th, didn't get 'til September 12. I only waited a short amount of time,compared to what you are saying, possibly due to my Canadian residence?

Anyways, Best Wishes on your Macbooks, both of you.

Just got it late this afternoon. Only two days shy from being a full month. But now I can say that it's totally worth the wait. :)

I too currently reside in CAN, by the way. :)
